THE GREATEST DIFFUSE MUSEUM ON EARTH: ITALY
Lovely town in Lombardy, whose peculiarity is to be divided into two parts, the oldest one defined Bergamo Alta and the most recent but equally fascinating area known as Bergamo Bassa.
The artistic and cultural heart of the city is the old town, a medieval complex surrounded by Roman walls, with narrow and winding streets plentiful of monuments that make the city a true gem of the Northern Italy. The old town can be reached on foot or with a suggestive funicular that rises slowly along the slopes of the hill; once arrived on the top you will face a breathtaking view and if you wish, you can take a break in one of the small restaurants where you can taste typical flavours like casonsèi (stuffed pasta) and polenta (meal with cereal flour).
Bergamo, a small village to discover.
