THE GREATEST DIFFUSE MUSEUM ON EARTH: ITALY
Mantua is an UNESCO World Heritage site since 2008, the historic city centre is one of the most typical of the entire Peninsula. The city was born on the banks of the Mincio river, whose waters according to legend has arisen from the tears of the prophetess Manto and can transmit prophetic ability to anyone who drink them.
Mantua spent its greatest splendour during the Renaissance with the Gonzaga family, who made the city a little treasure: La Camera degli sposi painted by Andrea Mantegna and the spectacular frescoes inside Palazzo Te are just examples of the beauty of the city.
Mantua, a small city full of treasures.
