THE GREATEST DIFFUSE MUSEUM ON EARTH: ITALY
Visiting Siena is like going back to the Middle Ages, the old town is still as it was and the population still feels with passion the subdivision of the ancient cities in 17 Contradas (small districts). The tradition is so alive that, even today, twice a year the representatives of the Districts compete in the famous Palio di Siena: a passionate horse race around the symbol of the city, Piazza del Campo, to decide the Contrada queen of the city.
Beyond the walls, in the Tuscan hills, you can taste genuine products such as oils, meat (the famous Cinta Senese of boar) and especially high-quality red wines: Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti and Montepulciano, with the possibility to visit the vineyards and the cellars where they are produced.
Siena, the authentic Tuscan tradition.
